Hi,

I am interested in purchasing a landscape rake for my JD 4310. Can anyone comment on a quality difference between the Landpride and Woods brands? Also, Landpride offers a flip up rear blade option. Any suggestions?

The rake will be primarily used to level a gravel driveway and to prepare recently cleared areas for planting.

Thanks!

Hi Labgirl, you may want to use the search feature on this board as your topic has come up quite frequently. I think just last week there was more than a few responses to the same question. ....

Here's a link to the recent landscape rake thread Abbeywoods referred to. I don't recall if it mentions woods rakes or not though. ....

I just purchased a rake also (20 Min. ago LOL.)
Just remember to compare apples to apples when looking at rakes. I compared hp ratings to the different rakes and not the name (light duty med. duty etc.) When comparing rakes looking at the price and hp ratings along with quality construction the name manufacturers seem to build a pretty comparable product although the price difference is what seperates some from the running.
Good luck
Tom ....
